FAROE drives enhanced consumption of and engagement with entertainment content through personalised discovery and recommendation. User experience moves from search as atask to the joy of discovery.
The project has combined consumer research, information analysis and architecture and user-centred design to develop the prototype. It uses a proprietary information model to interrelate metadata describing film, TV, music and editorial content. It enables new kinds of user journey, recommendations and packages of content to increase monetisation.
FAROE is available as a cloud-based API that can be embedded in any content service and across multiple platforms. It can optimise a variety ofbusiness models including pay-as-you-go, subscription and advertising.
