Digitising this process is an important step in the drive to make ports "smart" and to enable the optimisation of our maritime transport infrastructure.

Digitising the maritime safety management system will also enable ports to more readily and flexibly integrate new technologies, operations and processes alongside their existing operations, reducing some of the potential barriers to the roll-out of floating offshore windfarms and autonomous vessels, for example.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
