WaterTrace is a platform that publishes both historic estimates and future projections of the change in water supply by source (surface water, ground water), and water demand by use (agriculture, industry, municipal) for local catchments, on a monthly basis. Developed with the objective of curating a transparent and trusted 'single source of truth', WaterTrace uses a combination of earth observation and in-situ data from each catchment analysed. It benefits from recent innovation that has created high-resolution datasets of land cover at global scale, available via open license in near-real time.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
