Recent advances in sensor network technology has enabled non-intrusive monitoring of these ICT resources, their users, and their interaction on a continuous basis and with fine granularity.
In the "Intelligent IT Support" project, Emnico and Kasra intend to harness large quantities of IT data, including system configurations, activities, and logs to deliver added value for individuals and enterprises. The project outcomes will improve the competitiveness and growth of SMEs as result of better utilisation of ICT for increased productivity, improved reporting, and better quality of service that they provide to their end-users. The consortium develops a technology where users (employees) and their ICT resources are profiled for improved understanding, analysis, and decision-making in enterprises in relation to the bottom-level performance indicators.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
