This involves the development of a patented vessel and operating concept
designed to handle the aggressive marine conditions typical of tidal energy sites.
Unlike existing approaches, this project will develop a total solution from first principles which significantly increases operational windows at a much lower unit cost. The solution will be the key to reducing the cost of installation and through life maintenance of tidal arrays to a level comparable to the installed cost of offshore wind.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
