We have the prototypes, we have the networks, now we want to start production in the UK with much more local and therefore reliable supply chains. \# Key objectives - Bring production of our existing and new products in-house, creating jobs. - Develop the software to integrate this digital Braille hardware into the creative development processes of the creative industries. - Stimulate business growth by kick-starting sponsored pilots in key industries. - Increase the economic opportunities for blind people. \# Details of innovation Our hardware that this project will be producing for the first time (Canute Console) is the only interactive and full-page Braille display and workstation for blind people in the world to date, giving blind software developers the same output as their sighted peers, opening up fields like spacial development (e.g. of layouts for virtual reality spaces).
