In Pursuit Of Repetitive Beats is an **award-winning immersive experience** that was made by BPM XR and publicly funded in 2021 by Coventry City of Culture Festival and the BFI to tell a story about the UK's musical history.

A **positive legacy** of the City of Culture designation, 'Beats' has since had a **successful** run as a touring installation **at international festivals.**

Audiences from all over the world have been taken back in time on a multi-sensory, free-roaming virtual reality adventure into the rich cross-cultural history of the UK's Acid House movement in 1989\.

**However,** the project's **single-player format limits its ability to scale and grow** to serve the increasing international and UK-based appetite for immersive cultural experiences.

The **innovation needed** to change this is **a new multiplayer system** that focuses on interactivity and accessibility as well as performance.

The project team will work with leading VR developer All Seeing Eye (ASE), to develop, test, and deliver a multiplayer technology solution that **will unlock new revenue models**, **new distribution and export** opportunities, **help us compete internationally,** and lead to **benefits for the creative industries** in the UK.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
