Attendees of brand-sponsored concerts, festivals, sports competitions and other events will be incentivised to download the Filmily app in order to film their experiences. The platform collates this footage and automatically detects moments of interest, identifies and ignores poor-quality shots, and seamlessly edits the best footage together into usable cohesive films. Filmily’s automation relies on a novel suite of backend technololgies for bespoke content collation and content metadata analysis on an unprecidented scale. Detailed metadata taken by the app during shooting includes filming location, direction, angle, height, zoom, movement speed and platform. Digital is the most important marketing medium in the UK, predicted to grow 25% every year for the next five years, as well as globally. However, it is expensive and time-consuming to create digital marketing videos through traditional human-operated methods. Filmily is cheaper and faster and offers an unlimited number of films from a single event. Its initial primary market will be agencies advertising events with more than 1000 attendees. The project to develop and test these innovations is within competition scope, because it fast-tracks a commercially and technologically disruptive service which will significantly grow weheartdigital and enhance UK competitiveness.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
