It consists of a 4-part tool-chain of ‘Interfaces’ that (a) makes it easy to connect electronic textiles or wearables to a mobile phone; (b) seamlessly pushes data streamed from the textile/wearable, combined in real-time with geolocation and sensor data from the phone, to an online database; (c) enables data owners easily to visualise data, manage data entitlement and to make data public for products that are inherently social in order to respond in real-time to data from wearables worn by others; (d) provides vital real-time feedback information on local air quality, weather, traffic activity, radiation, seismic activity, etc from existing public data sources, enabling wearable/textile products to respond not just to body conditions but to the wider environment surrounding the wearer.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
