Michelle spent 14 years managing Northern Ireland's £20 billion Health budget and formulating strategy for healthcare initiatives. However, her life was rocked five years ago when her second child was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, leaving her profoundly disabled. For three years, she worked tirelessly with some of the best child development experts in the world to provide her daughter with the best therapeutic input at the right time. She learned first-hand that therapy is only effective at the right frequency, intensity and duration, tailored to each individual.

Unfortunately, current therapy provision is not targeted in this way. The NHS cannot cope with demand. There is a severe shortage of staff. Waiting lists are long and appointments are sporadic. Clients, when they are seen, are not given tailored plans on how to carry on their therapy after they leave the clinic. Costs are high. Outcomes are poor.

Kinva is a transformative software platform that digitally connects therapists to their clients. It allows them to create bespoke therapy plans with day-to-day scheduling, sent directly to the client's device. Therapists can include media in the plan, such as videos, documents, links. They can see when a client has completed a task, assess it remotely, and provide feedback, support, and encouragement. They can manage their caseload more efficiently. With bank-level encryption, therapists are assured that their clients' data is secure.

Kinva reduces the need for clinics, reduces costs and carbon footprint, creates much-needed accountability, and improves client outcomes.

Kinva is an innovative, secure comms and knowledge-transfer platform allowing allied healthcare and other professionals to connect directly with their clients and patients, providing them with bespoke, tailored, outcomes-focused therapeutic plans.

Kinva's benefits are:

* Connected - transforming therapy delivery.
* AI-driven 'nudges' and machine-learning - analysing data to identify which treatments are most effective per demographic, and make recommendations to practitioners.
* Clarity of treatment, improved outcomes - daily scheduler, tailored plans and programmes with a full media library of audio, video, and files to make treatment cohesive, workable and more effective.
* Environmental commitments - reducing the need for clinics and travel by a minimum of 50%.
* Preventing professional overwhelm - caseload management. Over 100 hours saved per year per practitioner.
* Supportive "kin" for clients and professionals - creation of social support communities.
* Accountability and outcomes-focused.
* Secure, GDPR-compliant.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
