TrapDtek uses radio frequency (RF) energy harvesting to continuously recharge an internal battery, eliminating the need for traditional charging methods such as cables, docks, or swappable batteries. This ensures uninterrupted operation in the field without user intervention. When remotely activated via RF by crew members within a 10-km radius during an emergency, the TrapDtek device emits a high- intensity signaling light to help triangulate the wearer's position. This feature is especially valuable for locating individuals who may be unconscious or immobilized during a rescue operation.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
