In order to do that safely and to build trust, we aim to provide accurate guidance, transparency and up-to-date information to parents that is backed by science.

This AI assurance project is a key part of a new AI driven product that we plan to release following this work and aims at preventing poor health outcomes by following a healthy diet from an early age.

There is an ongoing crisis with overweight and obesity that is projected to cost the NHS £50 billion by 2050 (NHS). Half of the world population is projected to be overweight or obese by 2035 and the costs are projected to reach $4.3 trillion (World Obesity Atlas, Mar 2023) . Obesity among children and young people is on course to increase faster than among adults.

There is an unmet need for preventative interventions. The covid pandemic has accelerated our awareness of healthy diets and cooking from scratch, which is associated with better health. Early life nutrition directly influences the development of chronic disease later in life, so to get it right from the start will deliver significant health impact.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
