The platforms will be constructed using recycled glass reinforced polymer (GRP), offering a lower carbon footprint and reduced whole-life cost compared to traditional materials. The modular design enables off-site manufacturing and rapid installation, minimising disruption to railway operations. The adjustability feature allows the platform height to be easily modified, accommodating variations in track alignment, ground settling and adapting to local and global differences in rolling stock. This innovative approach aims to provide a cost-effective, adaptable, and environmentally friendly solution for passenger platform construction.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
