We all know the issue. Six to eight out of 10 people in commercial spaces suffer thermal discomfort. Most people do not know that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) will contribute to 18% of greenhouse emissions by 2050\. HVACs consume 2-15% excess energy for each degree outside optimal settings, which implies overcooling/heating. Even worse, the HVAC is often turned on or left on without occupants present in the room. We developed a solution for smart HVAC control and thermal comfort that can generate energy savings and accelerate buildings to net zero with a particular focus on SMEs, which are left behind by the rapid digitalisation taking place in newer smart buildings. Making HVACs smarter to consider users' comfort can lead to a 1.6% reduction in the UK's total electricity consumption and emissions.

Cosysense provides a net zero service to commercial buildings like hospitality buildings, offices and retail spaces to reduce operational costs and emissions and for their users' comfort. Our plug-and-play sensors measure the indoor environment, the comfort sentiment of users, and the HVACs' electricity consumption and footprint. Our clients see their data in a real-time dashboard. We use the data to train an artificial intelligence model that controls their HVAC remotely for users' comfort and increased energy efficiency. We only charge a fraction of the energy savings we generate, so our clients become more profitable and greener with our solution. What makes us unique is that we are the only user-centred energy efficiency company because we focus on people's thermal satisfaction to create power and emissions savings.

Our vision is to create smart, sustainable spaces, so we take impact very seriously. Our cloud-based solution allows us to evaluate the number of people in thermal comfort, energy, and emissions savings. With the right technology, comfort can meet profitability and sustainability. Do you want to wait for smart sustainable spaces, or shall we make them happen?</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
