AR Seascape GPS is an innovative Digital Ocean Technology project that combines sonar, GPS, and AR to create a child-friendly intuitive 3D interface to stimulate interest across fishing, commercial fishing, and aquaculture sectors of the blue economy. Thus, live marine data is rendered interactively as CGI visuals, on a dynamic real view interface. The unique experience connects classic marine activities with newer digital trends, together promoting future participation in the blue economy.

The new interface will empower users to point their smartphones or simply view the horizon with their AR headsets towards the sea or coastline. They will see a live, AR-driven overlay showing fish species and their locations, sourced from a real-time sonar data feed. This project aims to increase public engagement with marine ecosystems and provide a visually compelling, educational experience.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
