Phase Space's first product offers a possible solution to the student mental health crisis. This demographic provides the test bed for our product, marketing, community engagement and route to market.

Phase Space is led by Zillah Watson and Katie Grayson, two of the most experienced XR practitioners in the UK, with a combined 20 years' of immersive industry experience and a demonstrable track record of not only creating award winning VR content but also distributing it to some of the biggest audiences for XR in the world to date.

With backgrounds in production, R&D and innovation they have produced and launched technology projects, content and services for the BBC, Sony PlayStation, Epic Games, Lego and Microsoft.

For Mindset they have partnered with Dr Aileen O'Brien, Consultant Psychiatrist and Dean for Students at St George's, University of London (the UK's only dedicated medicine and health sciences university). And Professors Marco Gillies and Sylvia Pan from Goldsmith's Computing Department (a UK leader in VR).

Phase Space's therapeutic advisor, Ursula James, has taught clinical hypnotherapy and anxiety management at UK medical schools for over 20 years. She launched the popular HypnoSOS podcast, originally to support key workers during Covid.

Phase Space recognise there is a chasm between developing good VR content and getting it to audiences. They have identified a delivery plan that includes best-practice service design with a people-based approach to support digital adoption.

Following a successful feasibility study in July 2022 of our proof of concept demo, the Mindset funding will be used to develop modular content for a five-day anxiety course to be used before exams, including co-creation, testing and trialling with our student target audience.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
