750143Wheat Straw ValorisationClosedVouchersInnovate UKThis project funded by Innovation Voucher scheme run by The Technology Strategy Board initiates a relationship between the highly prestigious bio-refinery development centre (BDC) associated with the Green Chemistry centre of Excellence at the University of York with A.T.G.Turnbull Ltd (ATGT).It documents a key stage in the development of a closed loop economy through the valorization of wheat straw. The project assesses the opportunity for turning agricultural bi-products into valuable feedstocks with a number of sectors, including the food industry.Success of this initiative will be of wide-spread value to the agricultural and food sectors and ATGT will look to roll-out this project through collaborative partnership arrangements.
