Long waiting times and appointment backlogs to see specialists have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and also by the susceptibility of our ageing population to deteriorating eye health. Our software product addresses key areas in eye care :

* keep a significant proportion of patients within community care (i.e. high-street optometrists);
* reduce unnecessary referrals to hospitals;
* reduce waiting times for the delivery of sight-preserving care and reduce costs, as patients will receive the right care at the right time in the best location.

Ultimately, this helps improve patients' quality of life.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
