Our bioreactors are take advantage of the most efficient organisms at carbon sequestration and aim to turn minerals, air, and sunlight into into fertiliser that not only outperforms synthetic alternatives and helps plants grow, but locks carbon in the soil in the process.

Our prototype bioreactors have been running now for two years at Berwick-upon-Tweed railway station with continuous backing from LNER. Based on what we learned from our small-scale pilot project, we are ready to design a new, scalable bioreactor array that is able to be deployed at unused brownfield sites, starting with other spare parking lots, and capture carbon on a larger scale. Our proposed 1 -ton bioreactor arrays would capture a metric ton of CO2 each year.

This project aims to establish the draft design of these future reactor arrays.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
