The Innovation Cluster programme will work with industrial partners, their supply chains, and regional innovation centres and organisations, in line with the Tees Valley's Strategic Economic Plan, Local Industrial Strategy, Innovation Policy Position Paper, and the findings of the Northern Powerhouse Science and Innovation Audit.

It will deliver-

* Increased innovation intensity, innovation maturity, and levels of collaboration, commercialisation, and investment. It will achieve this by building on TVCA's existing investments such as the Net Zero Industry Innovation Centre at Teesside University and its Sector Networks Programme, making the whole of Tees Valley's innovation ecosystem more than the sum of its parts.
* A locally led narrative that provides a clear external profile. This will be achieved as part of its business communication and events programme, and a digital collaboration platform. It will also include case study development and promotional campaigns.
* Create an integrated community that sustains beyond the grant funded period. Led by local innovation bodies and industry through a Cluster Leadership Forum.
* Plans for developing EDI -- It's Inclusive Innovation work will ensure that the programme will have the widest and most diverse participation possible within its constraints, while actively seeking to drive inclusion within the cluster. This will build on work to drive inclusion delivered as part of the Tees Valley's UKRI-funded Industrial Decarbonisation Challenge (IDC) Cluster Plan.
* Continuous improvement though understanding. The Cluster Leadership Forum will ensure lessons learned throughout the delivery are shared and taken seriously. A thorough project evaluation will also support enhanced delivery of future innovation programmes within the cluster, while demonstrating the value of this programme.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
