This will be achieved through the deployment of advanced autonomous technologies and data-driven environmental monitoring, critical to the consenting process for offshore wind projects.

The project will integrate solar-powered autonomous vessels, AI-driven edge computing, acoustic monitoring, and advanced visual imaging technology, addressing critical gaps in existing marine mammal monitoring methods.

The platform is explicitly tailored for the offshore wind consenting process, providing continuous, real-time marine mammal data, significantly enhancing regulatory compliance efficiency.

Sustainability and Carbon Reduction: By eliminating dependence on crewed vessels and fossil fuels, S-MMM contributes directly to decarbonisation and environmental sustainability within marine operations.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
