This approach will not only combine model inferences but move towards delivering a common uncertainty standard and data ontology for multi-sensor data fusion. Our ambition is for a composable, open architecture platform enabling continued integration and improvement of data processing models across industry. Our research and development will lead us to demonstrating and delivering a solution that will reduce operator analysis time, increase critical decision-making, and guide the rapid response of threat identification.

Mind Foundry has proven experience delivering uncertainty-aware inference and composable processing pipelines across a range of data types including complex signals such as sonar, radar, and RF comms. We apply the same principles to data fusion in fraud detection in insurance, and in predictive maintenance programmes. Our approach integrates multiple data modalities to provide robust inferences and recommendations, even when data has varying sparsity, and reliability characteristics. Combined with BAE Systems' experience in integrating sensors and subsystems across sensing modes for submarines and marine platforms, our consortium has the capability to understand and execute on the requirements of the known problems in the ISR space.

The proposed research will be focused not only on the scientific art of the possible, but on the operator's need for a solution in practice.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
