A passionate leader from the front when it comes to women and their finances, I'm dedicated to helping close the gender wealth gap globally. Initially I was a reluctant entrepreneur, I never set out to start my own business but I felt compelled to share my knowledge and confidence with women who were struggling financially when the pandemic hit in 2020\. After embarking on a money journey some years ago, I recognised that women were overwhelmed when it came to tackling their personal finances and were therefore not taking action when it came to their money which is why I created Financielle. Money content is easily accessible online and brands like Money Saving Expert can help individuals by finding the best Cash ISA or credit card but nobody provides a step by step plan - think couch to 5k but for money. Financielle is a female money brand helping women take control of their money, pay down debt, increase savings and invest in their future. Women are behind in all areas of personal finance; literacy pay and wealth. Our mission is to help close the growing gender wealth gap by educating and empowering women with their personal finances. Financielle holds the hand of women and walks with them through their money journey providing valuable content, education, helpful tools and a supportive community. The next stage of our journey sees Financielle integrate a female focussed investment platform into our existing application - the first in the UK market. I have dedicated years to helping women one on one with their money queries and worries, I recognise that this is no longer scalable. Taking on the role of a female business role model would help amplify what Financielle is trying to help women achieve the world over and a position which I will take seriously and with great pleasure. The vision for the business is to be the brand females think of when making a financial decision.
