These systems are found in (pre-) clinical and bioscience studies in applications including, but not limited to electrophysiology, imaging and pharmacology. However, these studies can be limited by bacterial and viral loads in the solution contaminating the test sample. The UVC Sterilizer aims to reduce and/or hold the bacterial and viral loads.

Vivisco will work with the National Physical Laboratory to assess the efficacy of the UVC Sterilizer to better assess and communicate the merit of the tools. This will lead to increased commercial sales and better job security in the Leeds City region. Beyond commercial benefit, it will enable extended (pre-) clinical and bioscience studies leading to better understanding of health problems, noticeably neuro-oncology and behavioural pharmacology.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
