The project will test whether dairy side streams can provide a reliable, low-cost source of casein and will improve the stability of our existing casein glue. The aim is a shelf-stable, low-VOC, reversible adhesive for craft, conservation and specialist technical uses that reduces reliance on petrochemical glues and keeps more value in UK supply chains.
