The gig economy, zero-hours contracts and COVID mean Gen Zs (18-24) will be financially worse off than the Great Recession Generation (2008).

Financial education platforms that seek to engage and teach this generation how money works aren't effective enough and Gen Zs continue to make uninformed decisions about money.

Research commissioned for the November 2020 Talk Money Week found that young adults are worrying about money more frequently than older generations. 71% of 18-24's said they worry about money once a week or more and 28% worry at least once a day. The success of frictionless buy-now-pay-later solutions designed to attract GenZs are only compounding the problem.

These pressures lead many to stop checking their balance. If they need to borrow to make their goals happen, their thin credit profile means they pay a 'poverty premium' (poor pay more for essential goods and services) and although they can access budgeting apps and smart banking apps, there's still no easy way for them to learn how money works.

**Say hello to Good With.**

Good With's education platform will combine compelling user experiences, driven by carefully designed real-time AI and voice technology, employing the highest ethical standards in the use of data and safe, transparent algorithms within a user-controlled service to build trust in Good With's financial guidance.

This project will enable Good With to develop an evidence-based, engaging gamified solution which shows young adults '_the stuff they didn't tell you about money that you really need to know_'.

By gaining a deep understanding of and empathy with our vulnerable user, we'll ensure we're developing an immersive experience that they come back to again and again. We'll discover the best way to deliver our multidimensional financial education programme designed to enable thin credit profile users to access fairer finance earlier and deliver a new risk model that gives banks and lenders the ability to provide fairer financial products to our users.

Along with our charity, apprenticeship and higher education partners, we'll help the most vulnerable young adults understand how to be good with money and in so doing support them in keeping their life choices open. Financial education isn't sexy, but we're on a mission to make it personal because it is.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
