Health workers at poorly equipped station often have needs for professional opinions. What if we can meet the needs by connecting them with a crowd of medical advisors? Inspired by many successful solutions based on the idea of exploiting the wisdom of the crowd, WiseMed is working on a Crowdsourcing Doctor solution to empower the patients and to extend the knowledge of medical students and health workers. This is a remote-diagnostic mobile app that answers patients’ concerns by engaging medical advisors (students and health workers). The aim of this study is to investigate the feasibility of developing an intelligent knowledge discovery system for the purpose of increasing the commercial value as well as scalability of the product.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
