The “things” considered by the study were those which have an impact on the clients’ wellbeing, their opportunities to make choices, and their ability to live as independently as possible such as data from care and support plans, telecare / telehealth systems, and potentially data from health records. The study focused on two or three scenarios (for example an elderly lady with dementia in an extra care scheme with a low level care package, input from the health and voluntary sectors, and stand alone technology devices). These looked at both where the organisation is now and where it would like to be. The outputs from the project presented how the desired future scenarios can best be achieved and what the requirements would be in terms of data, systems, processes, finance and legalities.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
