The market opportunity - significant in scale - revolves around reducing or removing barriers to consumer uptake of those technologies, and offering a frictionless consumer journey that addresses the following key challenges, as identified by the Sustainable Homes & Buildings Coalition (2021):

1. Increasing consumer awareness
2. Offering clear and personal advice
3. Ensuring affordable upgrades
4. Making the process easy

Thermly, at beta stage, is a digital platform that systematically addresses these challenges, almost entirely focused on the quality of a positive customer journey, which will result in accelerated uptake of low carbon technologies at a domestic level. It will reduce time to installation by 60% and removes all six of the key drop off points in the existing customer journey identified by NESTA (2023).</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
