Movement is a fundamental building block to life, and that improves the health, wealth and wellbeing of people, communities, and our economy.

Our vision is to see movement utilised as a fundamental treatment option in healthcare by prescription or self-referral helping to build connected, healthy and prosperous communities giving patients the ability to shape their own support and care.

The Theory of 30 model aims to connect those in the community with movement opportunities operating their area. We aim to work with directly with communities who are at high risk of poor physical and mental health, are socially isolated and experience barriers to traditional movement opportunities.

We want to help small community physical activity businesses get online, for free, so they can develop awareness of their services, increase their trade and help the people that matter to them most, the residents of their local patch. On the other side we want to make it easier for local people to search for activities in their area, whether that's a structured session at a leisure centre or community hall, a local walking route or a zoom-based movement class, from the safety of their own home. In short, we hope this will achieve two major things. In the short term, it will help people be more active. For those dealing with health issues, particularly mental health following a very trying year of lockdown and social isolation, we believe that removing barriers to accessing local opportunities will very quickly improve an individual's wellbeing by reconnecting them with their communities and the natural environment (the space around them). In the longer term, we want to create an evidence base of data and insights to support the marginalised communities, which is vital for decision making within Government, Councils, funders and the business community.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
