Published research indicates that a rigid rocker sole design is more effective in off-loading the mechanical stresses and strains experienced under the neuropathic foot. Reducing the magnitude and duration of pressure experienced under the neuropathic foot is now considered a priority for patients at risk of plantar ulceration. Footwear supplied to patients considered at risk of plantar ulceration should demonstrate design features to reduce the likelihood of the shoe becoming a causative factor in plantar ulceration development. 
To establish the effectiveness of the patented healix design, in-shoe pressure data gathered from patients living with Diabetes is key to promote confidence in the provision of this product to patients.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
