Our technology will "read" imagery in the digital worlds to detect unauthorised use of copyrighted or trademarked designs.

Our product will protect consumers from buying fake digital assets; prevent brands and artists from having intellectual property stolen or re-used without proper approvals; and allow brands to manage their images in these new emerging worlds, which are the future of the internet where we will eventually all live, work, and play.

The project will focus initially on existing marketplaces trading digital artwork, and investigate the extension of this technology deeper into the metaverse.

The technical challenge itself is very tough, with existing state of the art technology being inadequate in a decentralised environment where often digital assets exist without context, and where fraud is a growing business.

We will build on our existing visual artificial intelligence technology and brand protection expertise to deliver an AI solution that will provide tools for brands and owners of intellectual property (IP) and/or design rights to understand where there IP is being copied and ultimately to stop fraudulent sales online.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
