These are often short films or theatre projects - sometimes paid, sometimes unpaid. We've discovered that 99% of the time they don't put in place any forms of legal agreement or protection - obviously not a good idea from multiple perspectives - copyright, employment law, distribution of revenue, avoiding conflict.

This project is the introduction and integration of a seamless, largely automated default creative collaboration contractual framework into the team-forming process.

To avoid the majority of issues that may arise among collaborators, this framework will walk the initial project owner through the key questions necessary to negotiate all of the terms of their collaboration with each potential team member. These terms will then be presented to anyone joining the team to force both parties to agree to each element of their working relationship, and to make sure that there are no differences in their expectations -simultaneously and smoothly educating them on the purpose, necessity and value of contractual agreements, and pointing them to resources to learn more if necessary.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
