The project aims to be the first large building in the UK to achieve the 'EnerPHit' standard and will massively reduce energy bills for existing residents.The project considers the practical issues faced by the client, design team, contractor and most importantly residents when refurbishing buildings to this standard.The project will also look at the means of communication during the course of the project and the feedback loop to ensure the project provides lessons to all parties on the issues to be overcome when delivering extensive retrofit schemes.
