They aim to enhance the actives’ ability to stick, spread, stabilise, penetrate or protect to list some of their effects. Adjuvants are mostly used in crop protection and little use of them takes place in crop nutrition. The company has developed a specialised adjuvant for the crop nutrition sector. The adjuvant is able to improve nutrient absorption by foliage resulting in reduction of fertiliser required. Its use is tailored to vegetables which are value crops and have issues with fertiliser applications due to the waxy layer in the foliage and hydrophobicity. The adjuvant increases efficacy of fertilisers improving quality of the produce and increasing yield.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
