In periods of large amount of rainfall and floods toxins andcontaminants( including heavy metals) are washed into the sewage system , this can be harmful as currentsewage treatment technologies cannot cope with unexpected large amount of sewage contaminants, therefore these contaminants are deposited in landfills and significantly affects the climate.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
