The FlowSave is designed to be simply fitted in the hot water supply line coming from a (typically domestic) hot water combination boiler and restricts the flow from the boiler to an opened tap to 3 litres per minute until the temperature has reached 42 degrees centigrade, at which point it opens fully to (again typically) 10 litres per minute. The annual saving of water and gas achieved for the average householder by a fitted FlowSave exceeds £150 per annum.
An external expert will provide the necessary attestation that the FlowSave restricts the flow of water through it as specified over the range of water mains pressure that obtain over the course of a 24-hour cycle.
Attestation will generate a step change in sales of the FlowSave, inter alia be cause such attestation will allow housing authorities, water and energy companies, who we are actively targeting as specifying customers, to claim Carbon credits.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
