Originally launched with simple, expert-designed activities lasting just 3--5 minutes, Play Moments has already helped families weave learning and bonding into daily life, even in the midst of busy schedules. Families have used its core features, such as the daily activity, manual personalisation of activities for everyday inspiration, and memory timeline, whether it's a fun "kitchen treasure hunt" or a quick mindfulness exercise.

Our long-term vision is to become a well-established British brand that supports millions of families worldwide over the next decade and be the leading provider and trusted brand of play-based learning for education and off-screen learning experiences. This next phase of development is a key step toward achieving that ambition: we plan to make the app even **more inclusive, accessible, and personalised.** First, we will introduce Spark AI, a voice-activated feature that lets parents request a new play idea hands-free. In addition, we will implement machine learning (ML) adaptive learning paths, enabling the app to recommend activities and experiences tailored to each child's current interests, developmental milestones, and past progress from our bank of activities designed in line with Early Years Foundation stage and Key Stage 1 frameworks. This ensures that every suggested activity, whether it's building towers, lava lamp experiment, or practicing basic counting, stays fresh, engaging, and appropriately challenging to ensure holistic development.

All the while, Play Moments remains committed to being an **off-screen companion for families**. Our design centers on offline, hands-on and practical tasks that foster real-world problem solving, creativity, and social emotional bonding and development. Families who prefer minimal screen time can rely on voice prompts and audio guidance rather than continuous, visually driven apps. These enhancements reflect feedback from our community of parents and experts, who have **highlighted the need for quick, flexible ways to enrich a child's day without further complicating modern parenting routines.**

By combining advanced technology with grounded early childhood principles and human-centered design, Play Moments empowers parents to support their children's development in a manner that is practical, environmentally conscious (using household materials), and fun. We look forward to sharing new successes with families, schools, and community organisations that strive to ensure every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through the power of play.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
