Although this is an enormous agriculture industry it has largely been overlooked by comparison to viticulture or broad acre crops like potatoes. The challenge is smaller farms, the benefit is the ratio of farm workers to acres. Our approach is to put an expert system in the hands of each farmer by enabling their mobile phone to gather and analyse data and provide insights for boosting productivity.
