transporting twelve people plus crew
The vessel will travel at speeds in excess of 45 knots thus reducing lost/travelling time by one
half
Passengers and crew will travel in relative comfort even in bad weather conditions due to the
radical design which reduces the accelerations, (g. forces) to 1/5 of those of a conventional
vessel
The vessel will remain in a stable condition when transferring passengers to and from the
turbines due to a unique combination of hull design and on-board technology
Low carbon footprint and fuel efficiency is a priority in the design and the vessel will be the
most fuel efficient of any vessel of its size working in the industry and will have a
substantially reduced build-carbon footprint
Large cost savings will be made by the industry because of the improved access to the
turbines both whilst under construction and when in operation
Safety is a major consideration in the vessel design and is built into all aspects including the
vessels ability to self-right
The vessel will be designed and built using materials that wherever possible will be recyclable
at the end of its life</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
