SPP Ltd has developed novel coating chemistry and manufacturing processes to produce materials for the manufacture of beverage cups and bowls, food containers for ready meals and frozen food packaging that offer environmentally sustainable alternatives to single use plastic packaging. This project will support SPP Ltd with commercialisation planning and development with UK customers and end users. It will provide operational cost support for pilot material production to facilitate customer and end user validation testing. The project will also support UK based external, third party environmental testing including recyclability, compostability and biodegradation certification.
