Our goal is to achieve **Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulation for our Boeing 737-800 Fixed Base Flight Simulator**. This will allow us to deliver essential Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) courses, a mandatory requirement for all aspiring commercial pilots, directly addressing a critical domestic training capacity gap.

Currently, our unique, **in-house manufactured Boeing 737-800 simulator** successfully runs entertainment services. It was meticulously built by a dedicated team of volunteer engineers, leveraging personal investment and deep technical expertise. Our ambition is to transition from an entertainment offering to a pivotal training provider, creating new, high-value jobs and fostering crucial aviation skills right here in the UK.

The main **blocker** to this transition is the substantial financial burden of CAA regulation fees, classroom conversion and the associated costs for necessary hardware upgrades. This grant is absolutely vital to overcome this hurdle. Our project is **innovative** as we aim to become the **first entirely UK-manufactured regulated flight simulator since the 1980s**. This pioneering effort involves significant proprietary software development and precision hardware integration, bringing our simulator to stringent CAA-compliant standards. Our custom-built software ensures a highly realistic and adaptable training environment, often superior to many generic solutions.

The market need for MCC courses in the UK is robust and growing, with hundreds of new pilots annually requiring this training. By providing high-fidelity, accessible, and cost-effective MCC training domestically, we will reduce the reliance on overseas facilities, keeping vital training revenue and talent within the UK. Our existing operational experience and dedicated volunteer engineering team, with strong skills in aviation electronics and software development, provide a solid foundation for successful project delivery and future growth.

This **Growth Catalyst Early Stage: New Innovators** grant will directly fund the regulatory pathway, allowing us to immediately begin essential upgrades, formalise our courseware, and initiate the CAA qualification process. This investment will rapidly accelerate transition into a fully regulated training provider, enabling us to **employ our volunteers, pay wages, and create multiple skilled jobs** as flight instructors, software engineers and simulator technicians. Our long-term vision includes expanding our training offerings, licensing our proprietary software, and building more flight simulators, demonstrating clear scalability and sustainable growth potential well beyond this initial project. We're poised to become a vital, innovative hub for simulator manufacture and pilot training, significantly contributing to the UK's aviation industry</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
