The aim of this project is to answer 3 key challenges raised in the trial, each of which require specific innovation:

1\. Designing a wellbeing wearable using the principles of the circular economy so that every component has minimal environmental impact whilst creating significant social value

2\. Develop a novel subscription-based business model that improves the wellbeing of employees

3\. Design AI algorithms to improve user experience and performance whilst addressing the societal concerns of data sharing and privacy

We will enable a 1000 user trial to test the business model and gain specific data on recycling. We will use this to extend the state of the art in sustainable electronics and test the feasibility of a circular and resilient supply chain for recycling and biodegradable components. We will develop and test an autonomous free standing AI system which can deliver the benefits of big data with minimum power and processing overheads.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
