meets the growing needs for rapid biological process development in diverse industry sectors. Specifically, we will develop a prototype Bench-top, Easy to use, Stirred Tank (BEST) bioreactor system that reduces operator hands-on time and increases the efficiency of bioprocess development work without the necessity for large capital investments. BEST will provide operation and control of up to 8 disposable stirred tank units simultaneously, incorporating both in-line and at-line analytical systems and feedback loops for rapid and cost efficient bioprocess development.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
