Specifically, these are occupations requiring a combination of programming skills and skills commonly found in design, data analysis, and marketing. In a 12-month period, more than a quarter million advertised job postings sought hybrid talent in positions such as User Experience Designer, Data Scientist, and Product Manager. This demand is both a boon and a challenge.

Hybrid roles are critical to businesses and have proven hard for employers to fill.

Traditional solutions have tackled the problem of identifying these profiles in 3 possible ways: passive search, headhunting specialists, and referral bonuses, resulting each inefficient because of the peculiarity of the profiles.

Pointo's innovative framework is based on an alternative business model allowing for the crowdsourcing of the task resolution, whose efficiency is validated by scientific research on behavioural economics, big data analytics and graph theory, and effectively expands the effect of classical referral programs. Scientifically referred as split-contract query incentive networks, the incentivized crowdsourced strategy have been proven to perform outstandingly in social search problems. Pointo incorporates the scientific research findings into the recruitment tool, allowing for the reassignment of headhunting budget into distributed referral bonuses to incentivize the crowd search of hard-to-find candidates."</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
