Despite this, many services rely on paper-based approaches and do not derive the full benefit for their service or their patients. Although software solutions are the natural choice for services wishing to modernise, widely varying work-flows, local approaches and guidenlines make the deployment of a generic solution highly problematic. This feasibility study investigates the design and deployment of a rapidly reconfigurable user and service-centred pre-operative assessment information management system which is rapidly deployed, cost-effective, reliable and safe.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
