Although software solutions are the natural choice for services wishing to modernise, widely varying work-flows, local approaches and guidenlines make the deployment of a generic solution highly problematic. This feasibility study investigates the design and deployment of a rapidly reconfigurable user and service-centred pre-operative assessment information management system which is rapidly deployed, cost-effective, reliable and safe.
