The overseas manufacturer of a key plastic component in the system we supply has changed its supply policy &amp;amp; we can no longer source this key part. We plan to design and manufacture our own part in the UK and take this opportunity to improve the part design. The existing part is very expensive and has several design flaws and the current manufacturing process for this part may not be suitable for our volume needs. Our idea is to redesign the component, re-examine the material selection &amp;amp; manufacturing process with the view to producing replacement parts quickly. We need an independent expert to review the existing design IP; assess the existing design, material and manufacturing process and advise on alternative material and process selection; improve the design for better performance and robustness. Identify a suitable toolmaker and moulder. We then aim to supply parts throughout the EU.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
