However, her motor impairment presented a barrier to her learning a musical instrument, as traditional teaching methods rarely address special needs.

Music brings people together, forming memories that stay with us forever. Making music is a fun activity that brings many motor and cognitive benefits to children. Learning the concepts involved in the musical universe, or playing as a member of the school ensemble doesn't have to be expensive or excluding, especially for disabled children like Evelyn.

Using available technologies such as Xbox controllers and accessible joysticks, _MarimbAI_ is an app that presents an innovative concept for teaching music and music-making, revolutionising the way children interact with musical instruments and other children. Any computer becomes a new digital instrument, an accessible platform for inclusive music learning.

Using a new artificial intelligence technology developed by Big-C Creative AI, _MarimbAI_ is a creative tool that challenges and stimulates children, personalising their learning pathway, composing music with the students, and uniting them on a collaborative platform. In this way, children like Evelyn will see music not just as another barrier to their development but as a playful, stimulating, and creative activity.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
