These are commonly recorded on paper or in Word, Email or Excel documents. This means that valuable data of every kind (management, manufacturing, safety, sales, medical) is shrink wrapped inside these documents. This data then gets buried in files, folders and email ~ which makes it effectively lost to the management of those businesses. This was the premise on which we began our TSB Proof of Concept project. Through that project we have seen this borne out in manufacturing, transport, facilities and health care settings. During the PoC we worked closely with several organisations to map their paper reporting processes into our system, i-Kno’, an enterprise solution that provides a rich realtime reporting platform that can be used horizontally across all business sectors. Through the Innovate UK Proof of Concept project we have learnt an awful lot about how our software platform, i-Kno’ can best serve businesses and through that how it can help managers, patients and workers (nurses, clinicians, engineers etc) report in real-time. An InnovateUK Development of Prototype Grant will allow us to take our initial concepts forward adding innovative new components based on the insights and experience we have gained working with these organisations. This grant will enable the prototyping of an innovative system for intelligent reporting of real time information via a range of desktop and mobile platforms i.e smart phone, tablet & desktop. To allow distributed teams to work in better, smarter and more efficient ways. Through this Webmoco will be able to go to market with a product that will create sustained growth and stability for the company.
