Our innovative touch and pressure sensing material combines patented sophisticated surface engineering and intricate signal processing and machine learning to sense touch, speed and pressure. Finger movements across the surface produce sequences of signals to describe the movement. Our injection-moulded uniform conductive material registers different signals according to specific surfacing texture properties, without integrated discrete embedded electronics. Our material will allow the design of disruptive products in different sectors, from consumer products to medical devices, and notably automotive interiors to meet car manufacturers´ demand for innovative Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI). We will enable to reduce costs, weight and improve driver safety by creating less distractions by reducing HMI clusters. Our technology has already gained the attention of relevant Tier 1 and 2 suppliers such as Futaba and Novares.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
